2700 square foot 1957 home built as the personal home of well known Idaho Architect Anton Dropping, the senior partner of the well known firm Dropping, Kelly, Hosford and LaMarche. Mr Dropping’s work can be seen around the city, having designed the Idaho State Supreme Court , the building now housing Trout Architects, as well as schools and municipal buildings around Idaho.
The house is a 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with a stunning black flagstone and brick and glass entry way and large plate glass windows throughout the main areas. The kitchen features made-on-site cabinetry and vast amounts of built in “conveniences” are present throughout the house. This includes an extensive intercom/ radio system and lots of hidden cabinetry. The children’s bedroom doors still feature Anton’s children’s names engraved on bronze door knockers.
