The historic McGrath Apartments in Wallace, ID. were built in 1915 in the Prairie School style. This building is two stories made from multi-colored brick with a three-story central bay that projects outward and contains a two-story porch. The building is covered by a flat roof and the central bay has wide projecting eaves. These features as well as the belt courses, terra cotta band, and metal cornice with curvilinear design are made in the Sullivanesque style. The interior historically contained four apartments and a penthouse, all with its own fireplace.

The McGrath Apartments building is a contributing element to the National Register listed Wallace Historic District Boundary Increase.
