The Moore Cunningham house depicts the Queen Anne style with the influence of French Chateau style in its brick construction. It is located on 1109 E. Warm Springs on the corner of Walnut. It was built in 1891 and later in 1892, Christopher and Catherine Moore moved in with their 6 children. Moore was associates with B.M. DuRell, they started the First National Bank. Banker Moore was founder and President of Hot and Cold Water Co. This house was the first on Warm Springs to get heated water. After parents died, Laura and her husband John Cunningham lived in the house, but had no children. The house has no a/c, 5 bedrooms, 4.75 bathrooms, 3 fireplaces, pool, attic, and has a total of 6326 sq. feet.French Chateau is a manor house also a country house. Usually French Chateau is an inherited house and passed down through generations. In modern use, a chateau still retains with some enclosures like: fenced-off forecourt, with gates that could be closed and perhaps with a gatehouse, and outbuildings: like stables, kitchens, brewery, bake house, and lodgings for menservants. Common characteristic of the house are brick, cone-like towers, lots of shrubbery, etc.
